Thanks, guys. I see you all outrank me and I'm only a Cadet? Well, as long as its Mouton Cadet I suppose I can live with that!
Mollinary - yes, I hit the big 60 this year. This means I'm now in the fourth stage of man. The four stages?

1. You believe in Santa Claus.
2. You don't believe in Santa Claus.
3. You are Santa Claus.
4. You look like Santa Claus!

I'm older than you, W.......And I look more like Worzel Gummidge, than Father Christmas.
(Have got gold rimmed specs......But they're not half ones like DP's)

Doesnt it depend which head you have on?
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

Welcome, Westmarcher. The point about being at the fourth stage is that you've reached orbit and jettisoned the other three along the way.
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.
