Just watched a great Turkish Documentary on the Ottoman Empire in WW1 on the Al Jazerra news channel

Very interesting stuff

Would like to have seen that.

A 3 part series

Just watched part 2 on youtube and it certainly isn't a Turkish documentary,  mentions the treatment of the Armenians for a start, more of an Arab focus 

Certainly interesting to see from the view from a diiferent perspective

I only switched on about half way though

There are a lot of distinctions in that part of the world that most 'Europeans', including me, struggle to get our heads around

I'm learning a lot courtesy of my ITLSU 1917 project

Turks are definitely not Arabs.
