Maybe the fact that he had been dead for two hundred years affected his performance a tad?  :-\

FK. I am sure Alexander's reputation was as storng as ever in the nineteenth century, however, I imagine his performance would have been considered a little below par!  :D

Bit late with that, I have had them for about fifteen years and they cost me £11 each. If I'd known I would have hung on.   :) :)

Strange thing is that I have little or no interest in the ACW but if I ever do...

I like the ACW. Simple armies, simple uniforms, and everyone is American.

It's a great starter period for wargaming, IMHO.

Yes it's really nice, you can get away with very simple colour schemes too without them looking bad. And still i'm struggling to get them painted  :'(

Now if i stopped starting a new project every other day that might help  :P :P
