Very nice I think it takes a bit of experimentation before one is completely happy.

Take care

Looking very very good.

Is the Sturmovik from Zvezda or is it a metal plane? Looks great on the table  8)

Word of warning on the Zvezda Sturmovik, it's the single-seat Il-2 which proved a liability in action. The improved two-seat Il-2M is a lot more dificult to find in 1/144th scale.

It's also £11.00 compared to £2.69 for the Zvezda one. I'm not eight quids worth of interested in that level of detail :)

I know, I know, what a cheapskate!!

Great force! Congratulation for the good work.

Now go for the soviets!

Edmund2011

Russians are coming!

I have started painting a riflemen company of 92 Naval Infantery Brigade, plus a machinegun platoon. Straight from the Volga to Stalingrad!

fred.

Are the bases different colours to tell the units apart?

Yes, it is an easy way to spot which squads belong to which platoon on the gaming table. :)

Thanks Lemmy!

I love the "Black Death" units and am delighted that you have the "Suka" crewed as well as so nicely painted.
