Hi,

Here's some pics of my dwarf army for rally round the king. Standard 400points.

I especially post pics for reference, since dwarfs pics were difficult to find when I bought these minis. I'm very happy I made this choice, because these sculpts are really good looking.

If needed, I'll post the references of the minis.

Oh that all looks a bit special

Well done really great
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

I particularly like the mix of blue and yellow and yellow and blue, ties them together nicely

Very nice! Like the colour scheme, too.

Also, how did you do the red hair/beard?

thanks !

Concerning the paint scheme, the "concept" behind my 10mm armies is to use one (or two) main colors so I can still see "who is who" on the gameboard easily. My undead are red, my dwarfs are blue/yellow, etc...

Concerning my bersekers, here's some pics :

Basically I go from a dark red base to orange, drybrushing. I probably added a wash just before the last highlights, to help "blending" all the colors togeter  ;)

Cheers, I find red hair awkward - often either ends up looking daft like a bad dye job or it's a nothing colour!

If you want a less "flamboyant" red, you can also start with a black undercoat, then a drybrush of  citadel base ratskin flesh, then a brown wash (agrax greyshade for example) and finally, again a slight drybrush of ratskin flesh.
