Be grateful it's Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, not the Pentagon and the Chrysler Building (stunning tho' the last undeniably is).

I remember Rushdie's comment on a movie where a monster is tearing Manhattan to bits as usual: "This is Los Angeles' way of telling New York that it cares." (from unreliable memory)
