Does look good, might have to catch it when it appears on Sky in a couple of years... (I almost never go to the cinema!)

I agree Leon; i go with the wife maybe once a year for 'major' releases so we splash out on a gallery at the Metro Centre.

Last trip was the 2nd Hobbit movie. Next will be the 3rd Hobbit movie.

Back pain, and a basic intolerance of other people making noise and mucking about on their phones makes cinema-going and immense displeasure for me.

I'm in the local Cineworld pretty much every week, sometimes twice a week.

Best (or worst!) use of the Unlimited Card was watching three films in one day - film, film, Pizza Hut buffet, film :) Cheap and entertaining day out.

Same for me, other people chattering or rustling sweet wrappers drives me mad.  The problem is that half the time it's the missus making the noise!  We don't watch many films together at home either...  :D

As a frequent cinema goer I'd have to say that this rarely happens, in my experience, and that besides if I am wrapped up in a film (or a book) World War 3 could break out and I'd barely notice.

Having been brought up in a family that regularly did the same, even my regular cinema-going companion's insistence on asking "Who's that?" about a character who's only just appeared or "Why are they doing that?" about an event who's significance is clearly going to be revealed later in the film doesn't faze me.

At last! A film not made for children!?

It looks far too 'Hollywood' for me, compared to 'Band of Brothers' :(. I dare say I will watch it when it comes out on DVD or the telly... :-\

Ithoriel

More Kelly's Heroes than Band of Brothers I imagine but hey, it stars a Sherman M4A2 76mm HVSS and features Tiger 131 from Bovington - what's not to like :)

... :o "Band of Brothers" ... not Hollywood? Must be a different BoB than the pap I watched.

Well, the 'BoB' series was based upon the book and followed it pretty closely IIRC, so at least it was historical in that sense. And I enjoyed it as the production values were superb. But each to their own.

Subedai

That looks...interesting in a Hollywood W W II fashion.

If memory serves, Meridian News reported that a English WW II veteran tankie from the times had been engaged by the films production people to ensure realism. The veteran, bless him, had never heard of Brad Pitt.
