Hello All

I saw from a post on TMP that TB Line is inactive and the moulds are possibly up for sale. Could this be an opportunity for Pendraken to run some new/parallel ranges (and let me get my hands on Eastern European medievals sooner   :D )?

Post here http://theminiaturespage.com/boards/msg.mv?id=350271

I've tried contacting TB Line but no response. Any thoughts?

Cheers

Buy them, for heaven's sake!  I've wanted some of their stuff for ages!

Yup if Pendraken bought them that would be great, the 2 mongol ranges ranges could integrate nicely
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

Never heard of TB other than to do with massive needles when I was at school.

Italian company. Lovely figures, but VERY Italian on the subject of answering emails etc.

I sent them an email about a year and half ago, they said then they hoped to get production back up and running in 3 months. Looking at the website I dont think that ever happened

Some lovely stuff but not for armies I've been collecting so never dealt with them.

I tried to send several SMS to Fabio, he didn't answered to the last ones.
I even tried to call him lately, but no answers.

Please buy the moulds, Dave and Leon.

We actually popped an email through to them some time back about their moulds, but we've not had any reply unfortunately.  I hope Fabio's doing OK, they produced some really nice stuff and it would be a shame for the ranges to disappear.

The last email I got was from either his wife/partner/girlfriend and she said she would pass the message on, took some time to get a reply though

Their Carthaginian effalumps were enormous, and gorgeous, but all their minis involved loads of little pieces, shields, etc. Very fine & very fiddly.

I've had the chance to play with an arab army at a medieval tournament.
It was beautiful.

I have a lot of TB Line arabs - they are lovely figures. Very detailed, and the cavalry are two part, which allows some very dynamic poses.

It would be a great shame for this line to be lost.

If any more praise was required, their Mongols are very nice...and they do armoured cavalry horses.
