They're the days when you can drive to the station in seven minutes rather than twenty-seven and pass a primary school without some crazed pensioner in a hi-vis leaping out brandishing a big wooden lollipop. <:-P <:-P <:-P
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

I am sorry but a silver dishwasher is a sink.
I can sympathise with Hertsblue. I also enjoy the traffic jam easing system the government enforces, without penalties, by allowing schools to go on holiday.

Leman

My point being I am a retired teacher so school holidays make no odds any more.

Just ticked over midnight, time to try and get some zzzz but my head is buzzing!
First 'proper' day in my new school tomorrow, inset and training day, new staff to meet, with a new head who has spent less time there than I have. Nervous about meeting new staff. No idea what this year is going to bring.
This could be 'interesting'.
My eldest daughter starts middle school tomorrow too. Growing up fast! She's so excited and ready for it.
My wife moves from teaching reception class to teaching a year 1 class this year, big change for her after 8 years.
Youngest returns to play group on Friday in a new room as she is older, at 2 1/2!

We don't need no education, we don't need no thought control!
Enough blabber. Night all (or happy lunchtime to the Kiwis)!

I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.
