It will be another............   My Lovely wife is cooking me a Stir fry of king pawns, with Larks tongues and Blackbirds testicles in ginger .  This will be followed by a gastronomic delight of a chocolate and orange cake.

He did this last time I mentioned I had cheese and pickle sandwiches for lunch...... left me feeling starved and drooling.

Er....I make that either £893.01 or  £1042.01 in total......If that's wrong...I'm working it out too quickly.

I shan't be bothering with 'The Mallard' at £7-99 for 130 issues, either.

Might buy the first issue of each, if the 'bit of brass' looks useful for anything though....Don't mind 50p for something that might come in handy....One day !!

Used to regularly pass her at the Bowes Park depot on the train to work in London.

It's only £5.99. The thought it might be £6.99.  The biggest scam with them is they are often pulled half way through when subscribers drop too low.

The MDF u-boat looks quite fun - but not at part work prices. It must be a really strange business model, sell loads of copies of the first two because they are cheap, then get a handful of people eaking it out to the end. And if they cancel it when you have 10 un-connected parts that must be even worse.

The mallard from etched brass looks a nightmare to build.

Last part works I started buying was about 15 (?) plus years ago.....Astronomy mag with a Cd-Rom every issue.....It was really quite good....But they pulled that after about half a dozen issues.

Anyone spot the 'Creepy Crawlies' part work that's just come out as well....Convinced that's the same one that was on sale since we've been out here.
