I got an e-mail from Timecast advertising a "new flexible terrain system". It's "flexible latex and can be "easily painted" in acrylics.

Anyone else got anything like this? How well does it keep paint?

I have seen some of their prototypes. Pretty well basically.

They provide instructions on their website for painting.

I have floppy roads from Old Glory, bought about 20-odd years ago. I used washes on them and they are still holding their colour to this day.

I would look at Fat Franks floppy roads on Ebay.  Already done and about a third of the price. One of my friends have some and they look really good.

Just realised how that reads - My friends floppy one looks really good  :-\

I use Fat Frank too and I've always been more than happy with quality and service. He will also adjust what he does as you wish.

Yes, I have some too. He will make them to order in 10, 15 or 28mm sizes.

Highly recommended and , as Orcs says, a fraction of the price.

He certainly does joining waterways in 10mm and 15mm. Can't see any bridges on his site.
