Anyone got any leads here? I've got a 1:850 of Himeji, but I fancy a few more (Le Krak comes to mind, of course). And I don't care for paper kits.

If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

Thanks. I may write to them. I'll need something waaayyyy smaller than 10mm scale if Krak des Chevaliers is even to fit on the table, however. And I want to incorporate a castle into field battles, not fight full sieges.

Hello FierceKitty

As you'd be aware the world is awash with Japanese castle kits however not much in the way of western types.
One suggestion is Irregular Miniatures 2mm scenery:-

The wall lengths are 40mm to give you an idea of scale, still too big for Le Krak unless you've got a really big table.

Optionally you could look at aquarium ornaments, but mostly they are ruins or fantasy castle types:-

Thanks for the ideas. It's remarkable that there don't seem to be kits like the Japanese ones, isn't it? Picturesque and popular subjects, and the Japanese ones are clearly big sellers.

Lego?

Perhaps a little on the large size!!

Sadly the models I'm aware of of Krak Des Chevaliers are paper ones.

There are 100 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who can work from incomplete data

I wonder if that friendly man at Leven could be interested in something like this.
