Hertsblue

Finished the second battalion of the Pskovski Regiment. Just got to finish converting my Mk 1 Hurricanes into Mk II Hurribombers for Burma. Then begins the long haul - a complete 14th Army infantry company for the 4th and final part of Kohima. Oh, and half a dozen Japanese bunkers too.
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

Wood Elfs gained three stands last night, then four hours later, two A4 box files of bases sand and pva applied.
Next phase planned too. Three more units for my Samurai, and a Prussian 1870 division to finish VIII Corps. :D

Getting back into the swing of painting and modelling has led to some long overdue AVBCW moving onto the painting table, alongside some scenery for use with my KR-16 forces.

After a losing weekend of WWII gaming, I needed a break; so tonight, after the amazing Mrs Lemmey has flaked out, I painted HMS Ajax, HMS Achillies and HMS Exeter in 1939 South Atlantic colours.

HMS Sheffield, HMS Norfolk and HMS York all done. Took me longer to research their camo and deck schemes than it did to paint them!
Really enjoyed painting these though. :D
