The Union won and one of my brigades covered itslf with glory in a charge that smashed the Confederate centre and reached the outskirts of Murfreesboro itself.

Very nice indeed . Not a period that grabs me at all, but I always enjoy seeing any AAR etc.

It's not a period that grabs me either.  But there are some really good ACW games.

I can play three excellent games, each set at a different level, with those toys.  Longstreet, Fire and Fury and Altar of Freedom

What size are your sabot bases? I'm enjoying Altar of Freedom as well and I have my figures mounted on 60x30mm bases.

They're 80mm x 40mm.  There's three 25mm bases in each sabot.

6mm? You have to go with 10s 

To be honest, I used my 6mm figures to test the rules and liked them so much I decided to convert my 10mm ACW project to AoF.
The rules are very easy to grasp but offer enough subtlety to be challenging.

Must admit I do like my Baccus 6 mils. I also like the idea of using the 3mm cut out buildings and fighting Shiloh on a 4'x4'. A most inspiring website (I also have large 15mm armies for use with Longstreet and Regimental Fire and Fury. Got into ACW gaming in 1968 so my interest long predates 10mm figures; besides I have too many other 10mm projects in mind, eg.WW1).
