After all kinds of things getting in the way over the past few weeks, I managed to get some 6mm infantry painted for KR-16 :). My aim is to clear stuff that has sat on my paiting 'table' for far too long, before progressing onto other things.

Given Mart his guns back for final tweaking....(and variations).....Now onto the Imperial Roman chappies at the same time as continuing with the 'Flodden project'.

Arabs are taking shape, and since it's my day off tomorrow, who knows but that the elephant escorts and the Indian cavalry might get going too? Next time will be a harder fight, Romans.

Still remaining: 10 elements Asian skirmisher foot, four of Tarentines, 2 of catapults, and six of thureophoroi, when the figures eventually reach me. The end is within reach (or sight, anyway).

Finally managed to shoehorn some painting in!

Bit more work on my Tusk beasties; bit more work on my Dark Elves; started an entirely new project: 2mm Dux Bellorum!

Cheers!

With Salute out of the way I can get back to the GNW, or the Austro Prussian War, or possibly Kursk, or maybe.....  (groan).
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

Been at my dads for the last week, rules written for school wargames club, pooh sticks played, interesting stones found and an old tree taken down, sliced, split and put in the log store! Loved it all.

It takes determination to paint a unit of Greek troops in pink tunics, however good the historical and archaeological evidence may be.

Last night was a good night, wood elves, high elves, undead all base coated and inked. Colour scheme for Dwarves and Lizzies decided upon and flesh done on Medieval human types.

Now just need to assemble the Lizzies, tempted to have them coming out of water as the general is on A'tun!

Is ten shades of green enough for wood elves?

Taken most of the evening for four stands. But at least the Lizzies are built. :)
