If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

Great figures, Bazaine. I particularly like the eagle colour. Do try to avoid Metz, though....  ;)

Very nice. The light coloured base makes the figures stand out.

Dear M Bazaine,

Some of us have been painting 10mm figures for a while. Do you think that in for the sake of the steeped longer, yet not as proficient in these arts, you could perhaps show a little consideration? Do you not feel that it behooves you to make a few mistakes to not show us up? A few buttons painted in the wrong colour? A missed cuff? An abherrant splodge of flesh on a trouser leg?

*through gritted teeth* These are lovely figures. Very good for a first try. Keep at it and you'll get better.

I'm with FSN, I call foul!

You are not allowed to post your first 10mm figures if they look 10 times better than mine, and I've been painting for several years now!  ;)

Seriously, those are beautiful, and the danger for me in seeing beautiful figures in a period I currently don't have is that they make me want to get into that period, so this is a double whammy!  Good stuff, can't wait to see more.

Really good finish on those, and what a great period to choose to game!
