I was right - the PVA'd ones came off with absolutely no provocation whatsoever...so a trip to Poundland today, a load of cheap superglue later and they're stuck fast on their bases. Right where they belong  :)

Agreed ;)

PVA peels to easily: I can't even get the Superglued ones off even when I want to.

Hertsblue

I have PVA'ed 15mm figures that were done thirty years ago - and still rock solid.
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

Looking after a friends dog for the week which is a bit high maintenance so not much stuff done over the past few days :(. Hopefully a bit of basing and painting tonight though :).

Duke Speedy of Leighton

Much flocking about last night. Then realised I'd missed aerials and pennants, those will get done tonight, plus base coats on another competition entry. This next one is mad and needs research!
*realises I might have bitten off more than I can chew on this one*

Some really nice ideas here 8)

Don't you find though Nik (and I've been guilty of this myself), in an attempt to make new lists "different"; they end up being "bloated" by additional rules? :-\

Ithoriel

I wrote the Albion list and yes, avoiding a raft of whizzy new rules is one of the most important parts of drafting a Warmaster army list, right after not introducing too many troop types.

I started with the idea that the Albion army should be predominantly 5+ saves representing a mix of actual armour and magical tattoos.

I wanted an army somewhere between a Chaos army and an Undead one.

I wanted Giants, Druids and Fen Beasts to tie in with the established background, though Fimir were quietly vetoed :(

Which reminds me - any word on the Balori/ Fimm / Trevors??

I think I came up with a decent army list, though others may not agree. Less is definitely more in Warmaster army lists!

Couldn't agree more ;)

Nice list and only 5 special rules; of those, they are all (apart from Boggy) from the main rule set.

My kind of list Mike :-bd

Fenton

I always fancied a Dogs of War army for Warmaster
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

Absolutely agree  :) In a streamlined and elegant ruleset, you don't want anything superfluous, methinks.
