Very nice...Love the muted colours on the flags
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

Very neatly done, Derek. That sort of thing can be very tricky to do.

Absolutely agreed  :)

More than enough for Longstreet now - I've finished enough toys to do Sedgewick's VI Corps at Gettysburg for Fire and Fury.

Including these generals.

Very nicely done and definitely of a very good wargames standard. The colours are bright and in the right places, not washed out as if painted on non-undercoated figures, the lines are straight, so no problem.

I adopt the '2 feet rule'. If they look okay from 2 feet away and you are happy with them then bo**ocks to the rest.

Excellent, Derek. I see you use the time-honoured device of two figures for a divisional commander and three for the corps command.

Stage 3 of the ACW plan is now complete.   I've got eighteen Brigade sabots finished for Altar of Freedom  http://dereksweetoys.com/2014/04/altar-of-freedom-2/

And they've seen their first action in a refight of the Battle of Stones River (Murfreesboro to the rebels) at the South East Scotland Wargames Club. http://dereksweetoys.com/2014/04/altar-of-freedom-battle-of-stones-river-murfreesboro/

The Union won and one of my brigades covered itslf with glory in a charge that smashed the Confederate centre and reached the outskirts of Murfreesboro itself.

Very nice indeed 8). Not a period that grabs me at all, but I always enjoy seeing any AAR etc.

It's not a period that grabs me either.  But there are some really good ACW games.

I can play three excellent games, each set at a different level, with those toys.  Longstreet, Fire and Fury and Altar of Freedom
