Hi all,

No doubt this has been covered before but...

How do I post a picture from my desktop?

Cheers ;)

Upload to photobucket. Shrink size to large webpage c.640 x 480 pixels, copy the bottom link of the four codes to the right of the picture. Paste into a thread.

That's the short version.
You may refer to me as: Your Grace, Duke Speedy of Leighton.

There's two options for posting pictures:

1.  Upload the picture to one of the photo hosting sites, like Photobucket, Flickr, picasa, etc.  Or to your blog or even Facebook if you've got one.  From there, you can then link to the Forum.  Give me a shout if you go down this route and I can run you through the process.

2.  From your desktop, but the image needs to be less than 128kb in size.  To add it to your post, type your message as normal, and then click the 'Additional Options' below the message box.  Next to the Attach option, click the 'Browse' button and select the image on your desktop.  This will then be attached to your message when you post it.  (A quick note, images posted this way can only be seen by member who are logged in).

I know I'm a bit late, but if you have gmail, there is picture hosting app attached to the account.

Plus you get to share your pictures with the NSA and GCHQ.

Cheers Fateeore; using Photobucket ;)

Seems pretty slick apart from the bloody adverts =)

Will have a look at Gmail though as I have an account.

From which they'll gather that Vendome is attacking from the south supported by Mutaguchi's 15th Army and the Nizam of Hyderabad.  ;D ;D ;D
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

I wondered how the men in black knew I was a militant Jihadist complete with thousands of troops ready to fight for the greater Arab Empire!
