Hi,

Over the last few months Phil has knocked up a few bespoke 10mm minis for my First Crusades project, the latest of which is a Firepot Thrower.

Pics and details can be found on my blog:

and for those of you who cant be bothered, there's a pic below as a teaser:

Really great sculpt Phil, thanks again,

Hi,

Just so everyone is aware the various bits Ive asked Phil to make for my project are not necessarily going to be picked up and released by Pendraken. I know Leon has a pretty full release schedule, so for now I've paid for these as they don't always fit into existing ranges Etc.

I am just getting Phil to make what I need, as and when he has time and the inclination. At some point the few greens will be moulded and cast, either just for me, or possibly a wider audience subject to discussions with Leon.

No bigee I just thought I'd mention it as I don't want people hassling Leon about stuff hrs nit planned to make  :D

Cheers,

Craig

I love his pickelhaube ;) :D. But seriously very nice indeed.

That's a ferocously good piece of work. You sure that's only 10mm? mm is the littlest part of the ruler.

I am embarrased to say that when I looked at it, I did think that with a paint job it could easily be a tramp in a wooly hat. Change the firepot to a bottle.   :-[

Sorry.

Shall I get my coat?

Lovely work.

You have, however, opened another can of worms for me: the possibility of bespoke casts. :-\

Like I don't have enough to paint already. :'(

"Knocked up" doesn't really hack it, does it? Beautiful little figure, Phil.  :) :) :)
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

Thank you chaps. :)

Craig sent me some reference piccies to help.....And I did notice the helm he asked for had a bit of a 'pickelhaubey' look to it.  ;D ;D
Yes...fsn....He is an 'historical' PD sized 10mm......(Oh ye of little faith ! :P ;)).....Tramp in a wooly hat indeed !! =O =O =O
(You're going into my little Black Book.....again.....Yes, get your coat  ;))

Knocked up Ray ?.....To be truthful....Compared to a lot of the figures I make, he was fairly straightforward.

Cheers - Phil

You still struggling with my idea Phil or are you happy to swap to the plan B we talked about?

AAARGH !!!
I just went to look in the folder where I'd (NO where I could have sworn I'd stored) those ideas Will....Can't find them anywhere.....Can you send them again ?
Obviously put them 'somewhere safe'.....Which was way too safe to find again.
I know I transferred them....But can't find them anywhere now. :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Cheers - Mr Muppet !

That's my memory too, Will.....
But I want to know where on Earth the correspondence we were having has disappeared to !
I DO clean out my PMs from time to time....But only after I've saved things in marked folders in Outlook Express.....So I don't lose them.
HAH !!

I know (pretty much for sure) that Outlook decided to delete a few (fortunately not critical) folders a couple of years ago.....I'm SURE on that occasion that wasn't me.
But there was a folder marked as 'Mad Lemmey'...as a sub-folder recently.....'Baint there now, 'moi dear'.

Probably me with finger trouble, I guess.

Sorry Matey... :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[
Cheers - Phil
