If you've got kids, chances are they're by her choice. Just point out how incomparably more expensive her toys are than yours.
I don't drink coffee to wake up. I wake up to drink coffee.

Best answer is to pick a smaller selection with a lower price for your Birthday and then add to it yourself ...

My 4 for 3 purchase the other day was not greeted with unmitigated rapture at home either - I had to talk fast abut deals and impending price rises :-)

Yes, you're in trouble, BIG TROUBLE!
Friends are meant to honest aren't they? :P

My sofa is always available (but Teazel may decide that anyone sleeping downstairs "needs" to be  woken up in the early hours to play with her toys! ;D

not as bad as me Last Hussar, I had my spending well and truly capped  :'(, the CO discovered in November last year that I had in 6 weeks spent about £1500 pound getting some of my lead pile painted, the reason she discovered it was I stupidly left my card statement lying around  :o, she is now questioning the real cost of all my toys  :'(

skywalker

I must have done something wrong when I married my better half as she does not mind what I spend so long as I don't cause the piggy bank to break and that I must be seen to be building/painting and using what I have bought ;D

If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

No...you're even worse (better???).  From an earlier post I remember you saying your significant other once asked if "is that all you're getting" when at a convention.

You sir, have found The Grail =D>

Fenton

Well true...though I do limit myself and she has an equal amount to spend on her hobbies then everything is fine

Well apart from not being married I don't have any issues with what I buy
