Just wondered how everyone was getting on/coping ?
I imagine quite a few of you are having an extremely (ahem) 'rough' time.....Good luck and best wishes to those of you that are already suffering
No proper snow in SW Wales........YET.....Apparently we're due a shed load mid afternoon.....Deep joy. X_X
At the moment just horribly, horribly cold.
(Which means ferrying out buckets & buckets of water to the barn for the horses AGAIN, tonight. :'( :'( :'( :'()
My sartorial elegance knows no bounds....I currently have 6 layers of shirts/pullovers etc on (indoors).....And I'm still not properly warm.
Not having sarnies for lunch today.....I'm doing myself some soup......Once I've unfrozen the gas !!
Our friends in Oz and NZ can join in....(and everywhere else, obviously).....Just to make us all very jealous. :P ;)
Take care, Gang....Keep warm.

It's damned hot, I notice. The cool season is ending, such as it was.
2.5" in Bedfordshire, and snow too!
Some snow last night, all burned off this morning, still bloody cold !
Knee deep in Grangemouth, Scotland and trying to figure out if we can still get to Bath tomorrow for a long weekend. The missus is supposed to be running the Bath Half Marathon on Sunday... so still trying to figure out just how bad it is out there!
Feels cold enough for this in Edinburgh

Just a layer of snow here in Bucks. Roads have a dusting. But its Freezing outside.
Have put out extra seed and water for the birds and no doubt the squirrels
Cold in Liverpool.
There was a droplet of snow in Runcorn last night. I was most annoyed that someone had use the snow from my car, my snow, to make a snowball.
It had all gone by this morning.
Aberdeenshire, a foot of snow in the garden, showers coming and going, bitterly cold with bad wind-chill. Not moving around much, main roads I use OK. Wouldn't venture cross-country though. A radio phone-in this morning from a lady travelling from Inverness to Jura had met no real problems on the entire route
Some snow here near Belfast. Public transport outside Belfast seems to have ground to a halt. Weather forecast says it feels like -12 which I can believe. It does seem like weird snow as it's more granular rather than flakes. Not sure if that's to do with the high winds or not
Bloody cold here in Bristol with a wind chill down to -12C. Due to strength of wind, not much lying snow yet, but a lot forecast over the next 3 days.
@ Genom. I wouldn't even consider journeying to Bath let alone running the half-Marathon. Maybe they should convert it into a skiing event instead.
No snow in Belgium, but varies between -6 and 0. chilly wind!

Whoah! That is a big cat! :o
(I used to gaze into the windows of toy shops that way when I really wanted something that badly 8-> ).
About 9 inches of snow here in sunny Renfrewshire (a tad deep for the wee cats here), more than twice that in the drifts (Jim, surprised you guys only have little more than a dusting). Some amazing drift formations caused by the wind also. Just finished clearing a path to the pavement then back up the driveway to one of the cars (the other one will stay there until the thaw) then done the same for the octogenarian widow across the road (I know. I'm a hero. O:-) ).
Tyne/ Wear. England.
Snowed Wednesday 75- 100 mm. Windy so some drifting. Today wind is whipping the snow about a bit,
minor snow showers. Major roads all clear, minor roads passable with care. Pavements (sidewalks) horrible. .

Humidity. Very dry snow, from the east. 'Normal' snow comes from the west (i.e. Atlantic) so is very much 'wetter'.
Also in Bristol, snowing lightly now, but is settling. Supposed to keep going overnight and into tomorrow. Agree that chances of Bath Half taking place on Sunday have got to be v. remote.
We've had about 12 inches so far, a lot of it last night. The roads are OK but there's no postal services at the moment, so we're going to take tomorrow off I think. The Hammerhead show has been cancelled as well due to the police closing the roads.

Actually, race may very well go ahead, but getting to it will probably be a nightmare.
At the other end of the country in my part of Kent the weather, like the snowman is abominable. Two loads of about 4" over two days with no melting in between. As Python once said 'It's cold enough to freeze a monkeys bum, your majesty!' and with the temperatues fluctuating between 0 and a lot of minuses it's none too warm. More of the falling white stuff in blizzard format is supposed to be heading our way but Storm Emma seems to have either slowed down or gorn orf to somewhere else. Luckily heating works and the stone walls of Narnia are keeping me warm enough to write and/or paint.
I THINK, we're just getting the
VERY front edge of Storm Emma, here in Pembs.
Wind's picking up, a little.....Though as far as snow is concerned, all we've got 'castor sugar' being gently sprinkled over us at the mo'.
Temperature is still appallingly cold.....especially with the wind chill !
Again....Keep warm and safe, Gang.

Don't blame you, Leon.....If Hammerhead has been cancelled, that probably means the village I used to live in, close to Newark, is suffering at the moment !

Went to our local Scotmid store in a beautiful, sunlit snowscape to find that locusts had apparently stripped the shelves of anything remotely bread or milk like (I decided unsweetened coconut milk didn't count) so flagged down what seems to have been one of the few cabs running in Edinburgh today and went to the nearby 24-hour Tesco in ever-thickening snow flurries. They were out of fresh milk and bread but did at least have plenty of UHT milk and in-store bakery rolls, so restocked and headed out into what now resembled the Fimbulvintr of Norse legend! Phoned for a taxi and was told they'd no idea when they'd get to me but they'd get there eventually. Had several Blitz Spirit chats with fellow Edinburghers and then gratefully climbed into a taxi which slithered me carefully home.
#britishproblems :)
And by contrast we've had over two inches of rain here in Toledo Ohio, with more coming down every hour. The end of our garden is now a moat. Three local counties are under flood warnings. It's currently 36f and likely to dip just below freezing tonight. My missus and I got our shopping done this morning, and we don't have to go anywhere until Sunday. Glad to stay indoors in weather like this. :(
Snow day tomorrow
In rural Suffolk, down a narrow back lane about a mile from the A143. The lane is packed snow and ice all the way, with two snow drifts about two feet deep where the wind has drifted the snow through gaps in the hedges. The wind is whistling around the eaves, but fortunately it has stopped snowing. Unlike Captain Oates, I have no intention of 'just going outside', and therefore I will not be some time! Hope to wait it out.
Mollinary
For further contrast; currently 14C, partly cloudy, almost no wind, heading for forecast high of 26C :d
Two cruise ships in the harbour to enjoy the nice day :)
Locals on Facebook saying we're cut off now. Oh, well, didn't have any plans to go anywhere anyway. Supplies holding out so far except milk is running out. Facing the awful prospect of having to drink beer instead of tea ........ :D
ATTENTION TOWN DWELLERS: Beware of falling icicles when walking sliding shuffling past high town buildings (have received reports that some tenement buildings in our nearest town have "police tape" around them to keep people away from the 'drop zone')
I'm getting worried....As we're still getting away with it at the mo'.
Tiny amounts of snow being blown around, causing pathetic drifts of up to 3mm !
Wonder what it'll be like when I wake up tomorrow. :-\
If it's the same, I'll be delighted !!
Cheers - Phil
We've even had a bit of snow in normally mild and wet Southport. Mainly on Tuesday, probaly 1-2" that has hung around, with a light top up last night. Main roads are clear, most side roads are too. But a lot of pavements, and other areas still have quite a lot of snow and ice packed onto them. It's bitterly cold, and windy.
Supposed to be going to Stoke on Sunday - think that is unlikely!
Cycling home was fine this evening, until the last bit on our road, which was treacherous due to a mix of compacted snow, bare tarmac and snow drifts. Bristol seemed like a ghost town with very few cars, and those often stuck in traffic jams unable to get up some hills that hadn't been gritted. Everything looked beautiful and eerily quiet. Plan to go sledging tomorrow, if I can get it out of the garage that is.
Hi
In the Mendips in Somerset; snow since last night but really came on lunchtime and still blowing a blizzard here now. I doubt if many people will be getting into or out of the village tomorrow. So I'm thinking a solo To the Strongest!, Persians v Macedonians......
Cheers and stay warm, Paul
Pretty grim in Salop. Just rescued the traumatised g pigs from bottom of field like the tundra down there. Rayburn going full pelt like keeping a steam engine going.
North Brum has a couple of inches but it's oddly drifty. The roads are bad though. Not if you're able to drive in snow, but mainly because people keep bottling and stopping then not being able to move or try and floor it and spin out. There's also two local colloquial genitals on quad bikes enjoying the snowy roads to the detriment of others.
We've made the decision to close Pendraken HQ for a day tomorrow and work from home. The roads aren't too bad but we weren't due to be there anyway with the cancelled show so there's no staff due in, and the Post Office have advised that there's no collections being made, so we can't post anything out either. I'll get caught up on some admin work and might even have some new releases for everyone.
I think that's wise!
We've been absolutely swamped at work till midday today when the accounts side of the construction industry seemingly did the same. I'm hoping for a quiet day tomorrow too and I might get some painting done :D
Roads now impassable in and around Bristol with advice to stay indoors unless travel absolutely necessary. First thing tomorrow clear the paths for us and our elderly neighbours, feed the birds, the prepare for sledging heaven :)
Sounds like you need some warmth. Below is a screen shot from 2 weeks ago, not as unrelenting as kitty's temps but bad enough for me. Temp in C not F.

Take the time to play in the snow with M'lady and the kids then snuggle up in the warm and watch a film. The kids will be grown up before you know it and the work will wait I a sure
I've failed all day long to clear a path through the snow to the wargames hut.
Reached it once late morning but substantial falls of snow obliterated the path.
Cleared the front garden path several times, dug out the car twice, tried to reach the wargames hut again but gave up at the steps up halfway there. It was getting dark by that time too.
Summer is offically over here, so we're down to ~25 degrees C. It is a bit cloudy today, and we've had a couple of ex-cyclones come through recently, so not all sunshine and speedos :)

Might do! Thankfully the kids only manage about 10 minutes in the snow before they get cold and ask to go back indoors! We'll have a walk down to the park I think, I got a drone for Xmas so it would be good to get some snow footage before it goes.
Hullo,
It's been a bit chilly up here in Helsinki, -14 C this morning, -20 on some days this week. But sunny and clear skies, so perfect weather for outdoor activities. Some of the tourists have been freaked out by locals having a dip at the outdoor lido in the city center. Only problem is the ice on the pavements. Every spring we have labour disputes and lot of the janitors and maintenance people aren't doing overtime at the moment, so they don't have the time to clear the roads or put enough grit on the pavement.
Cheers,
Aksu
We did get away with it !
I would 'guesstimate' about 12 to 25mm (1/2 to 1 inch) of snow.....(if it had come straight down)....... but the wind has moved a lot of it about, so there are quite big bare patches, here and there, and a few 'drifts' of perhaps, 3 or 4 inches.
I'll take a walk up the road a bit later, and see if there are any impassable 'bits'.
It depends on how much snow has been blown off the fields and through gates.
Haven't heard or seen a single vehicle, so far this morning, so it'll be up to the first tractors of the day to make a channel or two. ;)
Still really damn cold.....But it sounds like it'll be getting warmer over the next few days. (PLEASE !!!)
The outside water can't unfreeze quickly enough, as far as I'm concerned. ;D ;D ;D
Cheers - Phil
Not a lot going on here in Buckinghamshire since Orcs gave his report. No more snow to speak of overnight, but cold and very windy. Blowing the snow all over the garden so there is a big bare patch in the middle, but what looks like a 6 inch drift up against the door of the G&T (wargames room). >:(
I'll get the snow shovel out later a dig a path, shouldn't take long.

Planning a foot patrol today. If the reconnaissance suggests it might be possible to get through to town, I might try the car. Otherwise the plan is to trek to the town to see what the supply situation is there.
Mrs W. has done nothing but stare through the window since the snow started. Might have to let her back in soon.
Not much more snow overnight, but lots of snow drifts over a foot deep. No buses in Bristol at all and roads pretty quiet. Advice is not to travel unless absolutely necessary. Just started snowing again. Off for a walk later with SWMBO as it is stunningly beautiful out there.
Hi
12 year old just waiting for friends to turn up and go sledding again like yesterday. Wife, who cannot get into Shepton Mallet for work just suggested a walk down to the pub for lunch (about 600m), now that's an idea worth pursuing..... Don't worry, I might be sometime!
Some trivia - Scott of the Antartic parents are buried in the village and used to run the old brewery here.
Seen just one car go down the hill (very slowly) since 7 o'clock this morning.

Nice, Martin! Your snowman is classic.
Here, it is snowing in the mountains above us. The wind is so fierce (gusts of 60 mph!) that while it is not snowing here (blue sky) the air is thick with snow. It is a balmy 31F but the windchill is murderous.
No snow here overnight, nor yet today. Lane still blocked, so walked the three and a half miles in to Bury St Edmunds, whipped by a howling, freezing gale. Bought my copy of Wargames Illustrated, did my shopping, and got a taxi back to within four hundred yards of home. Once home time to thaw out the condensation pipe on my boiler (again, for the third time), and then settle down to read the 8 page spread on our new FK&P Rules. Pity they didn't take any of my offered corrections regarding errors of identification in the pics of my figures. All 10mm labelled as 6mm!

I did a quick drive into the local village, which is about a mile and a half away., early this afternoon.....The road was pretty good, apart from a stretch of around 400 yards....I went, at that point, because it had just started to snow. (Very lightly).....By the time I drove back (barely half an hour) the whole road was definitely getting a bit on the 'iffy' side, and the snow was coming down a lot harder.
NOW.....I wouldn't try it.
I'll have to wait for the tractors again tomorrow......Or just not bother. ;)

Yeah, been there, done (doing?) that. Condensing boilers really are rubbish.
Went out today for a walk down to the town for the first time since Wednesday. The town's main roads were all clear but sideroads and pavements should only be approached by people on foot with the skillset of Torvill and Dean. Started with the proper falling white stuff about an hour ago, before then it was just sleet or small hail or hard snow or solid rain, couldn't really work out which. All our football matches have been postponed so I can't even get my weekly live footie fix. Damn this weather!

I downloaded my eCopy this AM and it's presentation might be different than the print version. Virtually everything was Simon's 28s but they had two pop-up side bars. "Scale and Time" which was illustrated with one of your 10mm M&P units ( although there was no specific caption for the picture). The "6mm" sidebar had several pictures of what APPEARED to be your 6mms. Maybe they listened to you for the e-copy. ;)
The article was a decent overview without egregious errors that I noted. (Did say a Brigade was two to eight units - it's ONE to eight - and that is rather important to know, imho).
Still a few roads blocked near the Irish border but 95% of roads now clear thankfully
I managed to clear a path to the wargames hut as well as clearing the front garden path and the car.
No more snow since so I expect a general thaw to start tomorrow.
I'll maybe get some wargame work done this evening.
Popped into the logical supermarket, plenty of food just no milk or bread.
Still coming down here. Think the northern storm has gone and the southern storm has arrived :D

Not really. The top right photo is of my 6mm Baccus King's Lifeguard, but the other three photos are of a 10mm command group (2 Pendraken, 1 AIM/Minifigs, 1 Old Glory), AIM/Minifigs Artillery and AIM/Minifigs Horse. The following may be read with a Yorkshire accent
60 mph, you call that fierce, in the last storm that came through Wellington the Meteorological Service issued strong wind warnings for the lower North Island, gusts of 120kmph (75mph) in exposed areas, 140kmph (87mph) in Wellington. We reached 137kmph (85mph), 7 days last month with maximum gusts over 100kmph (62mph)
Wellington is well know for its wind ;D

I didn't know he was dead!
I wonder if in the future we can look back and enjoy a bit if banter with friends, the Four Wargamers talking about "how we used to live in the bottom of the lake, and it was frozen, and we had to dig our way out with a dull scalpel, and walk uphill - both ways mind you! - to the Mill to earn our tuppence to pay for our figures..." "Figures!? You were lucky! We had to make our own molds from wet newspapers!"
I wouldn't mind watching that sketch and explain to the skeptical youth the dedication we have to the hobby...
Anyway, I'll get me coat and apologies to those who have been seriously affected by the weather.

2-3" yesterday afternoon and evening, just enough to bugger the roads up so I didn't get to club last night >:(
Still, looking out the back window this morning there is definitely the start of a thaw. :D
Snow lying this morning, not much. According to Yahoo and Google it's wamer today, as much as 4 c
IanS
We had between 4"-6", excluding the snow drifts. Now it's all starting to melt rather quickly. Side roads still a tad tricky, but anything resembling a main road is fine.
Awoke to a good covering of snow on Feb 28th but by midday was gradually starting to melt. Over the next three days very cold wind but clear roads and most pavements. Most of the snow had gone by yesterday afternoon, but awoke to a light dusting this morning - probably the last of it for us in this coastal enclave of Merseyside. Odd to think that 40 miles away people were stuck overnight in their cars.
Set to get the car out today, and found the neighbour digging out the snow drifts. He was already 80% done, but I gave a hand with my own spade, and it is, at least for now, passable for ordinary cars. All roads clear, once you get the mile from my house to the main road. Forecast to get warmer. Fingers crossed!

I must admit I was surprised when I heard that. The forecast for today was good and the snow is mostly gone here in Bucks, I'm sure it's pretty much the same in Oxfordshire. I was all geared up to run a pulp skirmish and buy some toys. :(
Puddles, I can see puddles.
All clear here, too mild for gloves even, and light rain to boot.
Down to an inch or two of snow here now - was around 8 or 9 inches. Wife was down at Irvine on the West Coast yesterday and said it was clear there. Should be able to store the snow shovel away for another year (or two?) now (fingers crossed).
p.s. During the blizzards I decided to "improve" a pre-painted 10mm scale stone bridge by texturing the walls, etc. with fine sand then painting over them. Made a real mess of it! ~X( Oh, well, back to the painting table ..... :(
All gone here, apart from a couple of heaps 'wot I made' shoveling snow from the drive.
Just back to the 'normal' wet of Wales.
Cheers - Phil
Normal in Bristol now, but still bad in parts of the Cotswolds that has 6' snow drifts over the weekend. Parts of the A46 still partially blocked by snowdrifts.
The last time there was a lot of snow I was at Nantwich market with my sister. Someone had cleared around the outside stalls and made a nice pile of snow, then graced it with a label: Scale model of Mount Everest - £5!
I like that ! ;D
Has been a knock on effect over here.....The supermarkets are starting to struggle with incoming deliveries.
When Von did a 'shop' this morning, she said there were an awful lot of gaps on the shelves......(And not necessarily the stuff that folk tend to panic buy).
They were hoping to get another delivery of milk (there was still some there, anyway).....But reckoned all the milk would be gone by the end of the afternoon.
I know a lot of dairy farmers haven't had their milk collected and have simply had to 'sluice' it away.
There was virtually no bread.....And the sandwich shelves were completely bare.
Lots of other stuff had virtually run out too.....The weirdest one to me was the cans of 'fizzy pop' shelves were almost empty.
Hopefully back to normal in a day or so.......At least we still have mains water, unlike a lot of folk in the South East (?).....The only problem we've got, now the water has unfrozen outside, is that a plastic/nylon tap has been trashed.....So that needs replacing before we can feed the supply through to the big barn.
Cheers - Phil
Hoping to travel down to Albanich on Saturday from Edinburgh.
I'll be taking the A702, then the A74(M), then the A701.
Anyone been down that route recently?
FWIW....
Its sunny 60F and windy here in Oklahoma, USA!
Weather report, done properly

Reminds me of a long ago heard radio announcement ... "and a messge fo trhose of you travelling on the A403 to Norwich ... the A403 doesn't go to Norwich."
Did have one strange effect - civil servants were working on a Sunday. Just meant that things got screwed up even more than normal. The name of DWP should be changed to "The General Assistance Department" !!!! ;) ;)
As you will probably know, Jim, it's snowing again (certainly is, here in the West of Scotland). Still, it's only Tuesday - plenty of time for it to clear up for your journey to Dumfries on Saturday. Great to read on your blog that the Consultant says you're clear of cancer now. :-bd <:-P

Wonder how many heads that flew over? ;D ;D ;D
"Eh, One?"
"Don't know, Two, but it must be time for tea."
To be fair all the problems were sorted asap.
Including our outside plastic/nylon tap...... :) :) :) :) :) :)
Though we managed to b*gger a little piece up when bits fell out of the replacement....I think we've put a rubber washer back in the wrong place, so it leaks slightly on the side we're not really interested in.....Hopefully easily fixed when we can be bothered.
The main thing is, that we've got water back to the barn without a geyser blowing out of the broken tap.
Cheers - A more than moderately happy Phil

Well there's a first time for everything - HAPPY PHIL ;)
Happy Phil and a Merry Leon to all!

And today it's bloody SNOWING again - forecast - light snow over welsh and scottish hills !
IanS
Formby, Merseyside, sea level and twenty miles beyond the yellow warning area in the foothills of the Pennines. Woke up to a thick covering of snow on everything, including tree branches, washing line etc., with thick flakes pouring down. At the same time Carol Kirkwood on the telly is saying that my area may see some snow at higher levels but generally it will be dry with sunny intervals. ;D ;D ;D
Just a fairly strong, cold, wind here.
My 'bun run' early this morning showed that Tesco's was still having delivery problems.
Cheers - Phil

And yet here in Liverpool city centre I am blinded by the sun.
And now in Southport, the fairly heavy snow we had first thing , like Leman a couple of miles down the road, has now entirely gone, and the roads are almost dry.
We had another layer this morning, just when I thought it had gone for good! It's mostly melted already thankfully, but they've closed the A66 again over the Pennines.

Re-reading that sentence, it seems to be made of English words, but barely uses English grammar.

Fred, in all honesty, it scans well for me. I approve of your comma usage which makes the sentence completely comprehensible.
Of course, I am not English.
;)
A definite case of here today and gone tomorrow for yesterday's heavy snowfall. Out and about without gloves again. Mind you, my mate's just got back from Texas, where it was 23C.

I couldn't get to Northallerton on Thursday morning due to the bad weather, since it came from the west and only lasted a day can we call it the 'pest from the west'
Dave :) :) :) :) :)

Looks a lot like here - snow everyday but one in March - although not enough to do more than dust us.
Btw - nice looking garden area, Andy.
Thanks mate it's the wife's pride and joy
Take care

First signs of snow here in Cornwall. Leaving for home tomorrow as early as possible.
The briefest of flurries of snow drift from a bright sky here in Edinburgh, at the moment.
The teensiest weeniest bit of a snow flurry in Pembrokeshire around 8 this morning.
Nothing since.....But the wind's bloody cold !!
Cheers - Phil
Every time I go out the weather is different. Snow. Sun. Rain. Sun. Rain. Sun and then creeping blue fog that takes the children.
Typical Runcorn really.

Hi
Been snowing here in the Mendips since last night, about six inches or so but just showing signs of stopping.
Cheers Paul

You've certainly had more than us, Andy.
I must admit I got caught out last night, doing 'dinner'......Didn't realise how cold it was outside.
Switched on the gas hobs...Thinking they'd work.....Nothing.
"Bummox".....Go and warm the cylinders with a bit of hot water.
Came back inside, not even thinking about anything else. Clicked the hob on.
What silly sod hadn't switched them off properly before he went outside.....
WOOOOOOOF !....(But only enough to make me jump.....Not do any damage !)
Cheers - Mr Careless :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[

It's starting to thaw now hopefully we won't have anymore .
You was lucky with your gas Phil

Just drove back from North Norfolk to Bristol this morning. Snow varied from virtually zero due to very strong Easterly wind, to around 1"-2" from Milton Keynes onwards. Roads absolutely fine for the most part, with the gritters having done sterling work to keep everything clear. Some roads had drifts which appear to have caused a few motorists to spin out of control :(.

Techno makes lunch
Strangely I picture a 400 lbs man lying facedown in the stubble with a bic lighter.
Whatever gets you through the day, my friend. Whatever gets you through the day.
;D ;D ;D
Phil, when he was in
Le Sûreté .....
I am assuming Techno, you had no drills or sharp knives about.
Well they do say a change is as good as a rest.
S*d off, the lot of you ! ;D ;D ;D ;D
The (ahem) 'fireball' was only the size of an overlarge dinner plate......Nothing like the one I had completely surrounding me, when I had the 'incident' with the two and a half gallons of old petrol, when I thought I was doing all the right things. (I was.....until I lost concentration and stepped forward to light the little fire, because the firelighter I'd thrown at it from a few yards went out.) :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[
Cheers - A Twerp.
Blimey Phil, how many lives do you have?!!!
More than most cats, I reckon, Steve ! :-[
There must have been at least a dozen occasions that someone less lucky than yours truly would have been killed. :-[......Or very seriously injured.
I'll run out of luck, one day. X_X
Cheers - Phil
Please don't!
Six new inches of snow and still coming down at a brisk rate.
Ours has now gone, we had about four inches at one point but good work by the council kept the roads clear (hence we could get to WMMS), and then it's been melting off since yesterday :)
Which has reminded me I need to post Shedman some camels!
Still snowing.

Nice and sunny in Brum but a bit nippy. Hope you stocked up on bread & milk, Bill - if not time to panic buy!
Pembrokeshire (SW Wales)......Cool/cold.....But nothing awful to post about.
I'd just like to see the fields have that 'fresh', green 'spring flush' starting......It looks as though we're still in the middle of winter.
(Seasons were 'proper' when I was young,) ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Cheers - Phil
Was that before or after the last ice age?
...and still snowing, the total is only about 10 - 12" so far, but enough to close schools.
We are in good supply, Pixie, but like Phil - ready to see some green growing things.
Me.....before coffee.
Mmmm vitamin coffee...
Speaking of greens, we've nearly got the daffs out!
Ours are out......Though there was bad frost a few days ago that nearly killed them all.
Looks like they've recovered now.
Cheers - Phil
Grimsby, our hedgehogs have decided it is warm enough for them to emerge from hibernation.

We had two visitors last night.
Martin
Blimey !
Hope they've got a decent amount of 'blubber'
If they're adults....I'm sure they'll be fine......If you leave them some cat food out for the time being ! ;)
Cheers - Phil.
We've had daffodils out since a week of so before St David's day. Still got a snowdrop out and a tulip about to open. Not unusual to have this mix here in Bristol. The hedgehog had been out and about for over a week now which is nice.
