Laddies and Jellyspoons, the previously unpublished companion to "While Shepard's washed their socks at night"......
No, No, No........
I made that up, all on my own. :^o :^o :^o :^o :^o :^o
(Actually...There can't be any copyright on that. (Surely ?) ))
I'm saving some up.......
(I've got a belter of a parody of "I know what I like" by Genesis......But I don't think that particular 'toon' is known to enough folk.)
Just the end......
"When the sun goes down,
and I switch off the light,
Go downstairs, and fall on the couch.
Me...I'm just an old sculptor, Mate,
You can tell that, by the way I slouch."
Cheers - A sad old g*t.

their bows were far too long,
he gave up sculpting, cut himself,
and sang this bloomin' song. "

Thanks so much,I now have this tune stuck in my head :)
Although the swimming buffaloe would be great in a BoB game - the lady doctors too!
Having recently helped to research the right French, German and Spanish vocabulary for this song I rather likes this. Also there's apparently a US Bank that uses it every year to do an inflation index. Personally I just use price of a series 1 Airfix kit as a measure. Given that in some cases they still seem to be using the original mounds that seems to work fine.
You can't beat the original mounds - so long as they are a Standard British Handful of course.

d_Guy - Just noticed your strap line.
You take the absurd and then taken it one step further.
Well done. You'll fit in well here. =D>
Now about that drink. I have my usual - Irn Bru and absinthe. It makes me hate the English, but forget why.

Thanks - I think :)
Yeah I already figured the absinthe (a no brainer really) and had a bottle sent to your and Bert's table.
Irn Bru I'm a little vague on - still learning "English" and all - is that like what we call in this neck of the woods Nehi Orange?
Irn Bru is a Scottish delicacy.
I am very proud of the fact that Scotland is the only country in the world in which cola is not the most favourite soft drink.
Irn Bru, a girder in a cleaning tank!
Not a source of iron!
Great stuff, pity you can't get it on draught down here!
Made in Scotland, from giiiirders!
I rather like Irn-Bru, it's tangy.
Not seen that second ad before FSN, cracking stuff.
Irn-Bru, as much of an institution as a bottle of Bucky!
Loved the video
Can't get my head around why it has a calming effect - but if it does - it does.
Handed a matching test on national traditions - carbonated orange soft drink and Scotland would have been a last pick! :)
Apparently you CAN buy it in the States - my wife wants to know if I spill it on the rug will it leave a stain?

This is how Irn Bru is made.
Educational videos are just the thing!
Confirms various answers to my rug question - thanks
