A picture from Florence. :(
you had a point I presume
I only ask because it missed. . .
That GW's tentacles reach everywhere, even defacing such Renaissance splendour as Florence.
Other breaking news!! Water wet! Elvis still dead! :)
I didn't realise that GW sold scooters!
No doubt with a Mc'Donalds on one side and a Starbucks on the other.
No Aztecs though.

Really suprised it's still open, I thought GW had pulled most of its European shops and I'd have thought the Italian youth had better taste than to play anything GW produced.
We can beat that...

Maybe it's just that one youth, Giusseppe Misspento.

You've just photoshopped out the crowd of eager buyers so we can see the company logo haven't you! You can't fool me, I recognize a photoshopped image when I see one :P
Sad thing is, Leon was supposed to be in Luton. Took a wrong turn at Hull.
High Force has perked up since the last time i was out there...

Another wargame shop on the high street - good news story. That reminds me, I need another detail brush.
FK - is that your photograph of GW in Florence? If so, can you recommend any good restaurants there? My wife and I were there years (and years) ago and the only one that was both good and reasonably priced (for Florence that is) that I recall was the Cinghiale Bianco (The White Boar).
There was a pleasant place in a small square on the other side of the Bridge of Sighs. Fish soup, gnocchi with shredded duck topping, and lots more. Also an amazing house mix; I really didn't think I'd ever hear Westminster Cathedral again! But I don't recall the name. It was on our way from the Baptistery to see the Brancacci Chapel.
We based ourselves in Siena, just doing day trips to the rest of Tuscany. There is no lovelier city on this planet, in my by now far from limited experience.
Thanks. Like you possibly(?) we used the rail network, using Florence as a base with Sienna for the day and Pisa at the end. I know which bridge you mean. If you recall the name, be sure and let me know. Regards.

Was going to say that's obviously a 'shop. But actually it's more of a stall.
Aha! Now I see your nefarious plan.
You're cunningly using the stall to divert our attention away from the appalling scale creep on that helicopter!
Did you think we would fall for that? :>
WINCHESTER. My bad.
Oh no !!......Not THAT tune !
I'll be humming that all sodding day, now !
I'll put Dark Side Of The Moon on continuous play, to drive it out.
Cheers - Phil
Ugh. Cure worse than disease!
I just realised. That object to the left of the stall is not a large toy helicopter! ??? (and what I thought was the rotor is the shadow of a guy!)
:-[ :-[
No wonder my painting style is euphemistically described as Picassoesque! :-B

Must go to Status Quo.....Down, down, deeper and down.....
Cheers - Phil.

;D ;D ;D
It really does look like one :)
Now all i see is a helicopter.
What you need, Techno, is a soothing session of late Beethoven string quartets while sculpting meso-Americans.
(Hmmm, my baby is leaving town tomorrow for a few days. Now everyone knows just how much I need that gal....)

Yes, and the rest of the duvet.....
