Another wargame shop on the high street - good news story. That reminds me, I need another detail brush.

FK - is that your photograph of GW in Florence? If so, can you recommend any good restaurants there? My wife and I were there years (and years) ago and the only one that was both good and reasonably priced (for Florence that is) that I recall was the Cinghiale Bianco (The White Boar).

There was a pleasant place in a small square on the other side of the Bridge of Sighs. Fish soup, gnocchi with shredded duck topping, and lots more. Also an amazing house mix; I really didn't think I'd ever hear Westminster Cathedral again! But I don't recall the name. It was on our way from the Baptistery to see the Brancacci Chapel.
We based ourselves in Siena, just doing day trips to the rest of Tuscany. There is no lovelier city on this planet, in my by now far from limited experience.

Thanks. Like you possibly(?) we used the rail network, using Florence as a base with Sienna for the day and Pisa at the end. I know which bridge you mean. If you recall the name, be sure and let me know. Regards.

I just realised. That object to the left of the stall is not a large toy helicopter!  ??? (and what I thought was the rotor is the shadow of a guy!)
