Has anyone here actually read '50 shades of grey' ?....I certainly haven't !

I should think not. I haven't even heard of it. The idea!
I flicked thru in Asda. It's quite poor... and it's not a BDSM relationship, it's just abusive so far as I can see!
Masochist: Beat me! Beat me!
Sadist: Never!!
Personally I prefer 50 Sheds of Grey. Far more practical. :D
Interesting that there doesn't seem to be a Fifty Shades of Gay as yet.
(Also interesting; in same-sex romance writing, the real trouble is with the pronouns! Think about it.)
My mistake: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/17410582-50-shades-of-gay
I only have about 20 shades of grey :(
But that was enough for the 1/3000th scale ships I was painting ;D

Aren't these all quotes from Sheds of Grey, or have I missed something ? :-\

I convinced my mother that "50 shades of grey" was a paint chart. Nearly got her to ask for it in B&Q.

Er, No. I didn't even know what it was until my wife explained it to me.
I started reading it. It is very poorly written - I couldn't make it as far as any of the 'kinky' bits.
Yes it is, and any woman in her right mind wouldn't put up with that sort of thing.
