Me too. It's the disposable income that's shrunk somewhat. However, have a good summer, FK. After a taste of tropical heat and humidity I'm not quite as envious as I otherwise would have been.

Despite my pension being sizeably less than my previous salary, I actually have more disposable income now than I did when I was working ... sometimes life is weird!

Hmmm, I could take a far less well-paid job and be the richer for it if I didn't work over sixty clicks from home in dismal traffic. But could I give up the outrageous time off I get?
