Been having a somewhat random assortment of stuff on the table now, some 10mm WSS commission, the more personal Italian Wars, some left over Hittites, I've also done some not quite Pendraken scale plastics for Waterloo, seeing as it's the anniversary - and had a play with trying to take better piccies! As opposed to "hope the light is good and bung 'em on the grass in the sun" approach of your, I set them up on a white box flap with some white paper to reflect and tried to take a decent shot. Not exactly professional but a step up on my usual photo skills, I think...

Nice figures and definitely better pictures

Maybe a touch underexposed due to all the white but that should be easy to sort

Love those mounted crossbow - a much better figure than the MM one.

They paint up really nicely. Even with only two poses per pack a bit of mixed colours and posing makes them look very individual - whilst you could do "serried ranks" of them as a formed unit quite easily as well.

Must get some for my Da Vinci armies. Interestingly, picked up Wargames Illustrated earlier and it had some nice picccies of 28mm models of Da Vinci tanks and flying machines.

Turns out the DaVinci models are produced by a Far East company called Academy. However they are available through Amazon.

Technically I do have suitable stuff in 28mm, if I dig out very old Games Worskhop humans from early Warhammer Empire era figures... Not quite the same, as I don't think they're even undercoated let alone painted even if I could find them
