Very true some of those, especially the secret submarine station at Tottenham Court Road!

Many years ago some friends and me were on the tube and some tourists were on with luggage and were near the doors

At one stop one young snobby young women   seeing the luggage  said in a loud Surrey drawl

" For Goodness sake how am I meant to climb over these"

My mate shouted from the other side of the carriage

"Give it a go luv God loves a trier!"

The women ran off
