Having painted some British and German figures earlier in the year. Here's a few of them...

The figures are individually based on washers, and the bases are magnetized to allow for them to be used in skirmish games and mass combat.

I decided it was time to get on with giving them a battlefield to fight over.

This is a top down of the first completed tile...

The tile is a one foot square, edged with magnetic tape (which will hopefully hold the tiles in place during play)

A few more close up pics...

The plan is that the barbed wire, emplacements, trees, ruins etc will be on smaller bases to give the set up more flexibility, and make storage easier.

Thanks for looking.

Yeah. The trenches are cut out of foam board, the sand bags are milliput, and wood for shoring up the trenches and the fire step are mixture of mounting board and plasticard - all housed in a simple wooden frame.

Excellent work there on the terrain boards 8). Nice idea as well re: the basing of the figures.

Too much like hard work.

If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!
