He's got virtually everything that can afflict a kitten, poor dear. It'll be a wonder if he lives through the weekend.  =((
I don't drink coffee to wake up. I wake up to drink coffee.

We got a kitten like that to..leaking bladder, kidney infection ans other things beside. Luckily we had a vet who refused to quit and our kitten survived and is 7 years old now
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

GordonY

Thats a real shame Kitty, I almost ended up with a puppy last year like that so I know how it feels.

I got some DVDs, some money and a suprise present coming from Los Angeles courtesy of my family who are out there. Not sure what to buy myself yet as I still have a big pile of books from my birthday and the ubiquetous lead mountain :-\.

fsn

Slim pickings. One Osprey book.

However, I had anticipated this and so bought myself some Pendraken goodies before hand.

Just about !!

I was in bed around 11 last night listening to the radio.....When there was an ominous sliding, rumbling sound from above my head.
Didn't think it could have been the chimney......(Thought there would have been a far bigger CRASH !!)..

Went down stairs and got dressed....Got outside the back door and went **** !!!.....There was a lake there....Just so much water pouring off the hills.
"Is the drain still working ?"......Yes !!
Oh well...have to divert some of this extra water down the drive....Sorted......Lake starts slowly going as the drain copes with what's left.
Find broken ridge tile on the drive...(So that's what the noise was !)....Deep joy.
Check attic....At least water doesn't seem to be getting in at the moment.

Go back outside....Lake's definitely going....Huzzah !
Check road at bottom of drive........That's a river.....Play touchy-feely in the water to clear debris on top of the drains out there.....The more the drains in the road can cope....The quicker the water outside the back door can get away.

I'm pooped this morning !! ......But it could have been lots and lots worse, like a load of the poor folk that have been flooded out of their homes recently...So I join Paul in his hope !!

Cheers - Phil.

It's quite unbelievable really....
If I hadn't got up to look outside when I did, I might not even have known the lake had ever been there !
Completely gone this morning.
The road now has a little water running down the sides.....The 'torrent' that was almost strong enough to take my feet from under me early this morning.....Disappeared.

What Mrs T and I still can't get our heads around is the sheer volume of water that was about.
Yes.... It was very, very windy.....Yes it was peeing it down with rain....But for what we can get over here....It didn't seem that exceptional.

Only other damage seems to be to an extractor casing on the outside of the house that's had all its 'slats' blown away.....At least I've got a couple of spares of those outside..........Somewhere.... ;D ;D ;D ;D

Cheers - Phil.
