I've just started a WSS project in 10mm.

I'm looking to use BP + LAOK but will want to look at tweaks to ensure it doesn't feel like SYW which I play in 15mm.

I'm basing infantry in two ranks of three on 30mm x 15mm bases with 4 bases to the unit. That's twice the density I use for 15s to try and get a better sense of mass.

You could try using Pike and Shotte as it seems probable that pikes were still used in the early years

I'm not too struck by P&S compared with BP. The Swedish list in LAOK gives a means of dealing with pike components: Fire factor down 1. H to H factor up 1.

Great thing about BP is the rules are designed to be tweaked to fit the scenario.
It may be worth a quick snoop at the Last Argument of Kings suppliment, but watch for factual errors!

We use Pike and shotte with a few tweaks for WSS, just to reduce the ease of manoeuvre a little! Gives a good game and feels that little bit different from SYW/Nappies/Italian Wars/Landsknecte stuff
