Here is the start of my 1914 Austrians. The colour I opted for, after much trial and error, was Anna's Acrylics 'Periwinkle'. The casualty figures are actually Irregular Belgian casualties, but they work well as Austrians in greatcoats. The bases are 3ox20mm and the figures are based up for use with Peter Pig's Square Bashing.

I've got to paint up my GWSH Russian rifle brigade soon - they are on 30mm x 30mm bases and await the additional sculpts before expanding.  I also need to find my Turks to provide opposition.

I'd forgotten about the Caucasus Front. Now that would be interesting.

There is a apparently a book called Caucasian Battlefields which covers 1828-1921 in about 600 pages.

I think  8) is shorthand for 'another brilliantly painted example of my company's excellent wares,' which is a bit more than one word.

I thought  8) meant "leave me alone. I have a hangover."
