Does anyone use these rules? I have just bought a set and they are very pretty. A recent TMP link reviewed these and they look like they may become one of the mainstay rules in the hobby.

I haven't heard of them before.  We've not had anyone mentioning them either, but with us not having a decent Nap range yet, that's probably why.

Yes these are sparking my interest. Sound like a decent set of rules from the reviews I have seen so far, although one comment was comparing them to Napoleonic FoW  :D

Looks and smells very much like Black Powder. I think I'll stick with the original  8)

LaSalle had a big push in this area for awhile, mostly people getting to use their 15mm Nappys again.  I prefer DBN for my Nappy games just because I can build 3-4 armies for the same or less cost to build one army for LaSalle or NapoleonicMaster.

The players I know that play LaSalle seem to like it but it is still in the growing stages around here.  NapoleonicMaster never caught on here, I was happy with it because I am a big fan of the Warmaster systems but with my limited time to build armies for "me", DBN was a blessing for my my Nappy urges  ;D

I've got these Dave and they are simple and fun to play. They do have some 'holes' but a bit like BKC, if you have the right opponent these can be plugged sensibly. The basing system is pretty flexible too and matches the FoG Napoleonic system which I beleive is due out in March 2011.
I don't think my wife likes me very much, when I had a heart attack she wrote for an ambulance.

Yes i now have these and they are a decent set. So I'm rebasing my Naps and will make this my main Nap ruleset for smaller engagments.  I am making sabots so I can use the same figures for large scale games too.

I have played a good few games of this and although some of the 'purists' down our club have picked some holes in them from my point of view they a give an easy, relatively quick (2-3 hrs) game and are not difficult to get the hang of. They certainly got our club interested in Napoleonics again and lots of dust covered armies made a dramatic reappearance.
