Weather is marginal for varnishing this morning but crap for the next few days

Well the weather is now misty rain with strengthening northerly winds

Good thing I took the punt and varnished the current batch just after my last post at about 7:30am

It was pretty cloudy when I took these so apologies for the picture quality. It's good I took them when I did as it is now raining

If I add the totals for the two armies together and compare them with my running total every number except the number of guns is different

The respective totals are 1,253 and 1,220

I'm going to have to do some checking

Seeing the British are still out after their photo session I checked them.

A few infantry stands have slightly less figures than planned as I juggled the figures I had ordered and my changing army list.

So the revised figures are:

British Southern Army, The Carolinas, 1780-1

488 Infantry & gunners
34 Cavalry
29 Officers
3 Guns
554 Total

This reduces the discrepancy by 12, 21 more to find
