I'm not sure that Darwin had it right but clearly some Americans are devolving.
Life is too important to be taken seriously.

Natural selection is clearly working well here. Humans have been cracking their noggins off stuff for hundreds of thousands of years; this guy's ancestors in particular. Those with thicker skulls have been more able to survive and pass on their genes, so that by the time this guy arrives he is able to withstand repeatedly charging a car window.
Most of mankind benefits from higher evolved intelligence, but for those who haven't, natural selection saves the day by providing thicker cranial walls for those brains within that aren't smart enough to determine this might be a bad idea.
