almost finished my Barbarian horde tonight that one is twice the size of the undead lot so not sure on points but it has 4 mammoths in its ranks so will be rather hihg methinks

Basically we have
Left to right.... starting at the front

Bison riders, wolves, trolls, infantry, fanatics, infanty archers
Mammoths, bison herd and herders a few amazons (seers/mages) a heroine the queen on a litter a couple of command stands and the general on a Mammoth the circular bases are for tusk or some other hunting game and the last thing (not Pendraken) a giant cave bear - also useful for my hunting games.


MY fantasy painted pile now is bigger than the unpainted - so I am getting there

This system does seem to be working for me I have now done the beggar army (except I am going to repaint the bases to match in with everything else), an undead force, the barbarian horde, almost finished my Samurai apes in both the red and blue armour (not to mention all the other bits and bobs in the box, like my GW warmaster eagles etc) and all done since October 12th. THe minotaurs were sent to me by Leon before I moved to Shetland and I came here in 2006 so as you can tell my painting hasmt really been speedy  , but it looks like I am geting there...huzzah

I enjoyed painting them. I am thinking of adding some Amazons to swell the ranks further... well I have a queen and a chamlpion and about half a dozen others. A few more wouldn'f go amiss.
That and a few units worth of skeleton infantry and a couple of skeleton cavalry.on. I will also get some Eureka wooly rhino and some  Magister terror birds.

I just remembered I have some of the tigers from the Samurai apes range. They will do as smilodon.

I will see how the Afghan's go as 'evil men'  and if they work I will no doubt go for some of them too.

Well I bought the Amazon battle oack so that should swell the ranks a smidge ... just got to paint them, but using the method I have been...shouldnt be too long I hope.
