To Games Workshop Customer Service:

I was looking at your Astartes Ultra collection and am sorely tempted to buy it.  I don't have as much time to paint these days as I would like however and wondered if you provided a painting / basing service?

I will let you know of their response guys.  :d :d :d

I have worked out that for the cost of this "amazing offer" (£7065) you could get 52990 Pendraken minis!!!  :o :o :o

That's almost the entire Allied force at Waterloo, or both the armies at Hastings TWICE, 4 Corps of the Army of the Potomac, nearly enough for all the casualties on the 1st day of the Somme, 4 British WWII airborne divisions, or enough orcs to have a chance against one elf maiden.

They're probably pricing up all the paint, glue, clippers, files, putty and varnish, whacking a 300% markup on it, and rounding up the nearest £1k.  I'll go for £20,000 or thereabouts...  :D

I am surprised that you didn't get an email inviting you to go down to your local 'hobby' store so their 'hobby' experts could show you how to paint them to a professional standard by yourself
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

Of course...but thinking on it once they discovered you were over 12 then you would be invited to a Veterans night instead
