Adding to NWF British Indian Army

Going through a box of figures I found my unpainted NWF collection which are now getting a bit of attention with an aim of getting at least onto bases and onto the table (khaki is always quick to paint  ;)).  Fiirst up questions are for the British Indian Army units. These arise because the figures were emptied out of their packets and into a storage box and my memory isn't what .....

The British Infantry I am generally happy with and appear to be a mix of NWF British, Boer War British Foot 1 and 2.  What are the Empire Foot 1 and 2 in the Boer War range and would they be suitable ?

The Sikh Infantry have Poshteen and are the ones from NWF but I have some other indian infantry which have the Pagri.  They are kneeling and advancing figures both with Bayonet.  Are these likely to be from the WW1 range?

I have what looks like mountain guns but with indian crews but I cannot remember where these came from.  I want to add a battery of British but do I want the Zulu range one (ZC7) or the Boer war (BW33)

Which packs have other suitable british officers and NCOs in?

Last question are there any Indian Officers anywhere.

Hi Si,

I've just started on my 10mm Pendraken Boer War army (British) so maybe I can help you out a bit... I also had the figures stored away and only recently rediscovered them. Just Like you I discarded the original packaging so I'm partially left guessing too... I also couldn't believe my memory would deteriorate that much! :(
Even so; I believe the Empire foot you refer to are the ones in slouch hat and I don't think you want to use them for the NWF. What might be usefull though are the Higlanders in Kilt; very nice figures (though pretty intense if you want to paint them up in detail)! Also the set of Marching British infantry might be usefull?
I'm also considering to expand my British army to cover the NWF too so I'll have a look into other , possibly, usefull troops as well.

Cheers,
Rob
