An AAR report of a solo game I played this morning based upon a 'what if?' scenario, where Britain and Frnace invade Germany in 1939 as they promised they would do.

Really nice report, but how many blunders? Was the British command really that inept? The tank hq is going to give the Glosters a thick ear after that poor showing! :-D

3 blunders and all the same result :o. The PBI will be buying drinks for the Donkey Wallpers, that's for sure :D.

What did you use for the aircraft?

They were from a website I found (see below) that has wonderful illustrations of aircraft and vehicles from WWI through WWII and some more modern stuff. I simply scaled them to an approximately correct size and then printed out onto fairly stiff paper.

They might even have some Centurions so that you can print as many as you want until the 'real' ones arrive from Leon :D ;).

Nice report.

Figures and terrain are great.

Love the idea of paper planes for wargaming!

Nice terrain, Steve, and and interesting game in an unusual period.  8)

I agree !

Nice game & report.
I like the alternative history which gives the early allies plenty of opportunity to attack. It's a good idea for me because I've recently painted up a fairly large BEF force and early war is popular at the club.

Sadly no longer with us - RIP (2018)

Excellent batrep indeed ;)

This is what BKC excels at - early war particularly. Late war just isn't as interesting with big cats flying around.
I don't think my wife likes me very much, when I had a heart attack she wrote for an ambulance.

Really nicely done again, Steve; you are a bad bugger with your naming though  :d
