This is a much overlooked piece of War of the Roses kit.  Far more important than a post war tank.

Must be true, I have a photo.

I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

OK, got it now.

An ancient cannon towed by a people-carrier I can get my head around, but not when the master-gunner is Gandalf....  :o

FSN pondering when his 'Little Tank' will finally appear

If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

fsn

It's cute, but it doesn't have the firepower of a 20pdr, the power of the Rolls-Royce Meteor or the grace and beauty born of the Department of Tank Design.

In fact, I reckon the Centurion would beat this abomination in all categories of Top Trumps bar one. "Year introduced as a Pendraken line."  >:(

Thing is I want several centurions

but they're not much use to me without the Korean and Chinese yobs, T34s we can get, Shermans we can get ,most of the UN forces we can sub but there are definite gaps,

Of course we'll also need appropriate choppers - can't do To Ko Ri without ASR birds  (and a short chubby chap in bright green scarf)

Leon

Just for info (and to cheer fsn up!) the Centurions have gone away for moulding now, we dropped them off at the Claymore show yesterday.

Thank you.

Being of a pessimistic nature, I'm expecting a message that to the effect that the masters

  • Have been accidentally left in the toilet of a servcie station on the M6
  • Were left next to the boiler and have melted
  • Were accidentallty War of the Roses artillery drawn by a hatchback
  • Are actually in 1:100 scale
  • Spontaneously combusted
  • Fell on the floor and were immediately snapped up by a cat/rat/parakeet/horned dog and have been devoured
  • Have been delayed by the introduction of the eagerly awaited Bronze age Polynesian range

But I shall remain. Steadfast and patient. Every vigilant. Unsleeping.

Hopefully we'll see the new mould at either Border Reiver or Colours, and then we can get them sorted for release.  We had to take quite a few pics of the parts before they left though, to make sure we know which bits go with which version!
