Orcs, Neutered Mammoth and Giant Armored Boar

Just want to share some Pendraken fantasy minis that I'm painting. This is an orc army for HOTT. No specific codes for the orc infantry. I just told Leon to throw in x number of melee orcs in (a looooooooooooooong time ago).





Sadly the mammoth tusks (of epic proportion) had to be cut to allow base-to-base front contact and prevent breakage. The orc army is led by 2 twin huge orcs (let's call them Gorx and Morx).

Next project is elf army Leon sent me last December.

I didn't realize the detail was so good one could tell the mammoth was neutered!  Amazing casting technique.

Surely you can't tell it's been neutered, unless you shave all the hair off and look for the operation scars.

I'm going to post the full army shot later.

I'm beginning to paint the elves one. I'm so excited about this one because the "Shooter" base will be composed of 4 archers and 3 spearmen on 40x20mm base. I love crowded base! But the bad news is... I'm out of ice cream/painting sticks...

Ha! I would've ordered from Leon expect that I need them before the Idul Fitr holiday! Minimarkets sell them in packs here in Indonesia, but several of them seem to be out of stock at once.

I think I'm going to add 1 more Orc base and 4 orc double bases at a late date... at least 65 more orcs!
