I pick up a 2 inch brush and paint a kitchen in a day.

Nic picks up a 2 inch brush and paints an army.
I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

I think he means that Nic uses a 2" brush to paint the eyes on a 10mm figure and uses a 1" brush to add in the iris and pupil! :D

I've seen Niks painting.  I have some.  Am now painting 117 to equal what I bought of his.  His will be the front rank. No one will be allowed to view from the rear.

Anyone remember "Modelling Mike" from Military Modelling. There was a cartoon of him examioning a figure and saying "Hmmm ... the button thread is the wrong colour."

Nick will use a 37mm brush for the threads.  His eyes aren't what they were.

:) Look what happens when real life keeps me away from the forum for a bit...(not to mention painting!)

Thanks LH, compliments appreciated  8)

I'm working on a Zen / Jedi mind-trick technique at the moment - just visualising / willing / Force-ing the paint onto the figures  :d

Lord Kermit of Birkenhead

At least you're not trying to summon homunculi from the lower regions of Hell. Last time the little devils kept trying to persuade me to go back with them....

Actually, does anyone know how tall Nic actually is?  Possibly he thinks he is painting life size mannequins.
