Hello there!

I'm new to the forum, and after looking around just had to register and join the community here!

I'm a long time wargamer, starting back in the early 90s with a copy of warhammer 3rd edition, I've played a few different games over the years, mostly games workshop (boo hiss) although in the past 3 years that's been exclusively specialist games (Epic mostly)

I recently had a trial game of Warmaster and fell in love immediately, looking around for some suitable 10mm dwarfs, I was guided to Pendraken miniatures and have been impressed with the sheer number of ranges and sculpts, on payday I'll be putting in my first order for a big bag of dwarfs to finish off my rather anaemic-looking army!

looking forward to getting involved with the discussions here and hopefully showing off some of my painting work in due course!
my hobby/painting blog: full of 6mm goodness coming soon, 10mm goodness too!

Home of Epic: Armageddon on the web! It's still very much alive!

Thanks for the warm welcome :)

if you want to see some pics of my current 6mm scifi work, I have a project log over on the tactical command forums (linked in my signature), I'll continue updating it, although when I get my 10mm stuff ready, I'll be posting a dedicated log here too!

just to clarify, what are the rules about mixing manufacturers? my dwarfs will be a mix from several manufacturers, is it better to just keep it to Pendraken minis in my log on this site?

If it's in the regular Painting Diaries board, it'd be nice to keep the Pendraken's front and centre if poss, but there's also the Non-Pendraken board further down where you can post anything you like (including GW if you really have to...  ;) )

I can certainly respect that!

Kudos that mere mention of other manufacturer's minis are even tolerated on these boards, I doubt it would be the case if it were on a GW forum, I will keep it exclusively pendraken on these boards :)

Many thanks for such a warm welcome, I am itching to get my grubby mitts on some minis as soon as possible!! :D

I mentioned them once but I think I got away with it
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

fsn

Did someone mention Centurions?

They're nearly ready you know!  :D
