Nice one Steve ;)

For a split second I thought "Wow! Electric Power Lines..." Until I looked a littke closer and realised it was an airer in the background behind the table :-[ :-[ :-[

Couple of questions about the scenery. Where do the telegraph poles come from? Scratch built hedgrows I presume? Are they mounted on mini-bits lolly sticks by any chance and if so how about a tutorial ;) ;)

Loved the use of the Wings of War plane - good thinking batman!
I don't think my wife likes me very much, when I had a heart attack she wrote for an ambulance.

Hi Nosher,
in answer to your questions:

- the telegraph poles I bought in our local modelshop. I think they are made by Ratio models and are 'N' gauge. The telephone box is by them as well.
- Yep the hedgerows are scratch built. They are tongue depressors that we use at work to mix up paint. They are about 6" long and I cut some in half and some into 1/3 and 2/3 to have a variety of sizes. They were then coated in my normal mix of sand and grit and painted. Once dried the foam type clump foliage you can buy from modelshops was stuck on with pva glue and allowed to dry. Static grass was then glued on where appropraite, again with pava glue and allowed to dry.
- The Wings of War plane is Craigs and they do look really good on the table. Shame they cost a packet though :(.

Hope this helps?

Enjoyable AAR.   I must think about doing some AVBCW in due course myself.
