QuoteARTHUR:  Well, what are you then?
GUARD:  I'm French!  Why do think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king!

The french invasion continues on a steady (though slow) pace.
With some mates from the local club, we decided recently to try 10mm miniatures.
Until now, we used to play 28mm mainly, and even had a team of us to go participate to some not-too-far-away tournaments.

Well, 10mm seems attractive enough for some of us. It's comparatively rather inexpensive, and the change is welcome, when other scales and rules demand investment in more and more miniatures just to keep up with rules changes.

I ordered some minis from Pendraken, which seem to be on the way ; I hope that I will have the opportunity to take some pictures soon, of course I would like to get them painted first.

Bon jeu à tous !

Grenadier

Ach! Another Frenchman.  Welcome to the boards.
By the way, I changed my persona. I was once known by 18thCenturygamer, now I am Grenadier-for those that give a hoot. Check out my fancy uniform!

Thomas Trolljaeger

Thanks all for the warm welcome.

By the way, I did recieve my first order yesterday.
I did not resist the urge to paint some, so here is the beginning on my new unit of skeleton warriors for Warmaster : the home guard of pharaoh Kislapeth.

... pharaoh Kislapeth.

ah ah !
How will you translate this in english ?!  :D

Thomas Trolljaeger

I can't.
Neither "braggart", "boastfull" neither "eye-wash" sound particulary egyptian, but I have to confess that my english vocabulary is quite limited.
Besides, I've got a very small dictionnary.

Goblin Warchief

Hi. Good joke  ;) (if you need a prince, you can call him Salmek) and good work too. I hope you'll show us the whole army when you get it done.
