Done that many times.

Worse is paper cuts from wine boxes, gods to they sting. I'm covered in them up to my wrists from opening and stocking shelves.
But I enjoy the rest of the job.

Haven't added that to my range of mishaps...yet...Will. ;)
But I'm always being warned by my favourite till operative, in Tesco's, to watch out when opening the boxes of dog food I buy each week.
I'm fairly sure he's cut himself on those boxes umpteen times.

Mark. :)

Plasters were hopeless !!!
You'd have thought I'd cut the end of the finger off, completely.
Fortunately I still had a couple of the 'butterfly stitch' plasters (Wot you sent) :P  left.
One of those has done the job perfectly !! :-bd
I'm now no longer dripping blood everywhere, and the mad dog is no longer trying to lick me to death.
(I have had to remove all the blood soaked bits of kitchen towel from the bin next to my desk, as the mad dog was dragging them all over the floor....He seems to like the taste of my blood.)

Cheers - Phil :)

Just to add to our collective injury woes, I spent 4 hours in A&E on Monday night with a possible fractured ankle!

All because I was getting something out of the Pendraken van and my foot slipped off the back step.  But instead of landing on the floor like a normal person, my foot managed to hit the inside lip of a old drain hole instead, rolling my ankle and crumpling me to the ground.

After about 30 seconds with no feeling in my foot, I managed to get up and thought I'd walk it off.  Sadly no luck though, by the time I got home I couldn't stand on it, so off we went to the local hospital.  Luckily no fracture, just a really bad sprain, but I've been stuck at home all week with it elevated until the swelling goes down.

That sucks Leon, but at least it's not a fracture or broken.

OUCH ! :o

Hope that sorts itself out really soon, Leon.

All the best - Phil.

Sounds very painful - do let it heal up properly, soft tissue injuries can be a bit tricky

Gods way of affirming your decision not to travel so much in the van.
Hope you recover soon.

Ice! In a glass, with whisky poured over.

Happy it was not broken.
