I don't like tech. Car has been showing 'Oil Life Remaining' message, going steadily down, tho' no leaks. Popped into Garage and they said it was a 'count down'... not a Fault warning. I Eventually found manual and cleared it... I Think!  :o  Bl**dy Computer Thing!  >:(
BUT... Home Computer has been 'Going Ape' for some days. Thought Dying.   :'(  Just for laughs, I excavated... and I mean EXCAVATED an OLD keyboard. Well dusted with cig ash beforehand, it was 'retired' after drying against radiator... having had pint of Whiskey & Coke spilled into it... but just abandoned under desk... for 8 yrs! Disinterred from Ash mound, I scraped off ENCRUSTED tab ash deposits , brushed keys and gave it a Good Smacking to get rid if some internal fag ash... and it WORKS! lol. :) New keyboard pending!  :o   ;)  ;D

We dropped the eldest off in Bangor yesterday to start University.  Bit of an odd feeling leaving him there on his own but I'm sure he'll be fine.  He's doing a conservation and woodland management course, all about saving the trees and reintroducing wolves and beavers to the UK, so it's right up his street. 

House feels a little emptier without him clanging about though.

Never mind, on the first semester break he'll be home with a few potted trees, a beaver in a cage and a wolf on a leash.

He's taken several potted trees with him and still left us with a windowsill full of them!  I wouldn't mind a pet wolf though...

Cheers Paul, he's got a real passion for it so I think he's going to do well.  The lecturers have said that there's 2 jobs for every graduate currently as well, so there's certainly a job market for it once he gets his degree.
