Not yet made himself known to the assembled masses was more to the point I was getting to.  Still, with a name with 1066 in it, he's bound to be a Dark Age devotee.

The bigger point is "Congratulations chaps! There are now nominally 2000 of us!"

Mrs Westie was looking at Facebook and tells me somebody went along to the ticket office to buy tickets for a biopic on Dusty Springfield's life. On being informed that the play was to be shown a year on Saturday, he had second thoughts about buying the tickets saying, "I'm just not sure what do with myself." 

Another guy bought tickets for the cinema online, only to find out when viewing the ticket information that the film was being shown on the other side of the world in Auckland, NZ ....... in half an hour's time! 

But, actually, he'd missed it because it had started some 10 and a half hours earlier!

First time for months, I've stuck a scalpel in a finger.

Von was MOST impressed, as I was dripping blood all over the kitchen floor, through a plaster stuck on to the offending digit.

I blame the new tablets I got from the Doc, yesterday. (They're good.....Nerve blockers, instead of stronger painkillers.... )......"I have become........ comfortably numb."

I was even more out of it, for a short while, when I took the second pill, early this evening....Mr Brain went almost completely awol....It's come back a bit, now. 
I'm not taking one tomorrow morning, before I drive the car !!

I'm supposed to take three of the b*ggers, per day, from now on.
If they 'start stopping' me pushing putty about properly, during the day...I'll just stick to two.

I expect they'll affect me less, as my puny frame adjusts to them.  ...But they do seem to be 'helping' Mr Back.
