Mrs Techno heard a vicar say the 'f' word, when he put diesel in his petrol car.
(Or was it the other way round ?)

The vicar heard Mrs T use the f word?
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

You've got to have your head pretty firmly up your a**e to do that - there's a big plate saying "diesel" on the nozzle. Doing it the other way (putting petrol in a diesel car) is very difficult because the diesel orifice is narrower than the petrol nozzle.
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

It was the day said vicar was moving into 'the parish' and his new home, in the village just a couple of miles down the road from where we used to live, so I don't think he was concentrating very well, that day !  ;D ;D

If it's easier for you to understand, Steve.......She can be the new vicar.
(She really ought to be made a Saint, for putting up with me, for nigh on 40 years.  ;)....Hmmmm  :-\....Thinking about it, she already has !  :P)...Does this mean I'll have to buy her a ruby ring next year ?  X_X :-SS)

I high-fived a vicar.

I went to the new Bishop of Gloucester's 50th birthday party.

I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

But money talks.

That makes the Bishop of Colchester your first cousin once removed.
